A strong sense of community, lively dialogue and reliable all-day care make our school a place worth living in.
Our varied afternoon program is designed according to the needs of the children on a yearly basis. The focus is on learning, playing, researching and exploring the world. In this way, we support the children in the best possible way in their self-realization and personality development.
The after-school care center has a large, attractive outdoor area directly adjacent to the forest, including a water playground, sports field, hammock area, table tennis tables, table football and much more.
Within the main school building we provide the following resources:
Forest education: The nearby forest plays a central role in our activities as a resource.

Here you will find the current Easter holiday programme.
Does your child play an instrument and would like to find out if they enjoy making music with others? Then there is the opportunity to try this out in a working group. The first sense of achievement when learning a new instrument is an incredibly wonderful feeling. In a band, children are empowered to draw on their own skills and learn to talk musically with others.
Music on. Head out. Dance! Together we want to move, dance and relax. We dive into the world of movement with a colourful mixture of break dance, ballet, modern dance, acrobatics, circus and yoga. Through games and dances that we work on together, the children get to know their bodies. What can it do, how can it move and where to put all that energy after a long day at school?
The Theatre AG children encounter an exciting range of techniques and skills from the world of theatre once a week. We playfully deal with movement, physicality and formation as well as with language and text. We work with poems, improvisation sequences and music. Finally, the children direct certain exercises themselves and thus gain their first experience of directing. The theatre group develops plays for the parents and our many school community festivals.
The students will practice team spirit and learn how to deal with victory and defeat.
The children will learn a lot about the history of archery. They learn about different types of bows and styles and try their hand at instinctive archery.
Baking can also be healthy! In this workshop, the children learn how to handle baking utensils. They gain basic mathematical experience in measuring and weighing. Furthermore, we attach great importance to the origin of the ingredients: Organic quality, regional and seasonal products are in the foreground.
A program for children with exploratory urge. With great excursions and projects, we learn to identify animal, tree and fungus species. We explore their use and function in the ecosystem. There is also a lot of playing. With activity ideas, children become real nature experts and learn to recognize and protect our local nature. In the process, analytical and logical thinking, enthusiasm, interest, environmental awareness and teamwork are encouraged and consolidated through play. Once a year we visit the Natural History Museum or the Aquarium. During heavy rain or thunderstorms, we stay in the school building, deal with interesting topics of the forest and do handicrafts with natural materials. If the children participate regularly in the workshop, they receive a medal as a reward.
A good way to acquire tools and material is to explore. Only when tools and materials are known and mastered is it possible to use them purposefully and creatively. The painting workshop offers all children the opportunity to explore colours, application methods and tools. We paint with brushes, spatulas, sponges, fingers, hands and feet. We work with primary colours, plus black and white. We mix all the colours we need ourselves. On large formats we create works according to our own ideas. In the process, we develop our feeling for contrasts and the division of leaves.
We puzzle, brainstorm and play exciting games. We also try out kinesiological exercises to stimulate and harmonize body and mind. All our senses are challenged. The children decide for themselves which games they want to try out next time. But most of all, we have fun. Children from grade 2 are cordially invited.
